"But each spring...a gardening instinct, sure as the sap rising in the trees, stirs within us.
We look about and decide to tame another little bit of ground."

LAST CALL for Member's Plants!

If you haven't had a chance to get to your garden we still have this weekend. The weather has been very cooperative in making great looking, strong plants this spring. They should be able to withstand a transplant and come out looking wonderful. As always, I have pots and soil. Call ahead just to be sure that I have a fresh batch made. You may leave your plants at either my house or at Ann Webster's house. Thank you for helping to make this year’s Geraniums and More Sale a great success! Looking forward to seeing you on the 17 of May! -- Suzanne M.

Horticulture - Colonial Faire

If you are not working a shift with us, consider stopping by for a visit to see what's going on at the Parker Tavern Colonial Faire from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Saturday May 10. We will be representing the Club, have information about the gardens, selling herbs and handmade items containing the kinds of herbs we are growing there. Admission is free and there will also be other colonial demonstrations and presentations. Also, please check your calendars and consider signing up for our summer watering schedule at the Parker Tavern. The weeks are set up from Monday to Sunday from June 2 - September 1. You can email Michele mgkane@mac.com with a preferred week or two and we will send out reminders in early June. The sign up sheet will also be available at the June meeting. Thank you in advance for keeping the Parker Tavern plants looking great this summer. -- Michele and Kim
